Grove Road, Coombe Dingle,
Bristol
The site was purchased from another developer who put the property into planning and unfortunately had it rejected. The original application consisted of two detached family homes, around 2,500 sqf in size.
Where it began.
The site was approximately 0.5 acres in a prime residential area in the popular city of Bristol. The existing dwelling on the site was in disrepair and required total demolition. Other barriers were narrow access and a sloping site and adjoining a conservation area.
Design & Planning.
We acquired the site with planning rejected for two, 2500 sqf homes. We knew we could design a scheme that would satisfy planning requirements whilst also increasing the size of the homes. We had to be creative. We received a positive planning outcome with a scheme consisting of two high-quality homes of approximately 4,400 sqf each.
Successful Construction.
The project was successfully completed in 14 months, slightly delayed by the first UK lockdown in the Covid 19 pandemic. Features include swimming pool & spa, full home automation, heated double car garages, motorised window coverings, triple glazed windows and gardens including mature plants.
